Madeline is a beautiful tortoiseshell manx (stub tail) female cat.  She is incredibly affectionate and loves to be petted and cuddle.  She is a lap kitty, and will sit with you for hours on end if you let her.  She is declawed on all four paws, so she would be much better off in an indoor only home.

When she was found, she had a bump on her neck.  It was removed and analyzed and it was found to be cancer.  Fortunately, it isn't the kind that spreads or needs any additional treatment.  She also had a dental done recently and had to have two teeth removed.  She has recovered very well from both of her surgeries.  She's looking for a loving home and would love to be a part of your family.

She also has a bent over right ear, called "rose ear".  Basically, when she was younger she scratched her ear too much which made it swell up.  when the swelling went down, there was scar tissue left behind, and that caused her ear to "contract" and bend over.  It isn't painful or harmful, it just make it look like her ear is permanently winking at you.

She does have an issue with missing the litter box on occassion.  I've tried many things, but just haven't been able to get her to be consistent.  She is keen on using blankets/towels instead, so she'll need someone who understands her special needs.  She might do better if she was taking an anti-anxiety drug, but I haven't tried that yet.
